I am of the opinion that the best Bible college for a young person to attend is the one in their own church. I take that position because of what I see in Scripture. This is the job of the local church. So the recommendation of this video is not to be construed as recommending young people leave their home church for training.
However there are times when a church is unable to provide training for their young people. When that happens, the next best choice is to send them to another church that is operating in a Scriptural manner and giving the training that is needed. This should always be entered into with the counsel of the home pastor.
In light of this need, I am asked by some, ‘Where can we send our young people?’
I want you to know of one tremendous choice that is available.
It is really almost hard to believe that Fargo Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Tony Scheving would be offering something like this.
Masters Baptist College is offering training tuition free!
I know, most would expect they will make their money back by renting the dorm rooms. But it is ALMOST….but it is true! They are offering beautiful dorm rooms for $100 a month! They are so nice, I jokingly told Bro Scheving my wife and I were retiring and moving in there…where else could I live for $200 a month? 🙂
Honestly, I was very impressed, not only with the dorms but more importantly with the spirit of the students. This college is worth checking out if you have some young people in your church and are unable to give them training at home.
