The Pursuit of the church and the purpose of the church are often confused or juxtaposed.
In this video I lay out how the pursuit differs from the purpose and why you will end up in compromise if you do not put the purpose in it’s proper place.
The pursuit is found in the Great Commission of Matthew 28:18-20.
Not understanding the pursuit will cause you to think that building a little kingdom is all a church is to be about. Nothing could be further from the truth.
The Lord intends for His churches to reach the nations (people groups) of the world.
To do that we need to rethink the broad scope of the Great Commission.
