5 of 7 men have arrived for the Missions Mentoring Module.
2 of the men arrived this afternoon after traveling for 63 hours. They were a little weary, but glad to finally arrive. They made it just in time for lunch – cold sandwiches. They thought they were delicious…must be they were without food for way too long. 🙂
We have 2 more men that are coming on Sunday. When everyone arrives we will have 7 men from 5 churches in the US. We will possibly have an African preacher joining us as well.
We would appreciate your prayers as we begin a 6-week module of teaching on evangelism, discipleship, missions and ministry – intensive teaching and personal involvement in all of these areas. Jesus did not teach in a classroom with 4 walls; He used the classroom of life and ministry. We will be doing the same. Please pray for all of us.

It’s wonderful to see what your mission is accomplishing in Africa! I only wish people would be more aware of the dire need to alleviate extreme poverty in England – so many families are under nourished, can afford no meat, no new clothes, no shoes, no books, no outings. Life is a terrible struggle for poor families here. You may not believe me but it is a very real problem for a large segment of the poorer classes and there is so little vision as a result amongst these people.
That’s great work Pastor Doug I wish you the best I wish if I could attend this mission and be the 8th one
