Well our day ended rather abruptly…were out about 2 hours. The testimony tract we were handing out mentioned the name of a popular church the man was a member of and then went on to tell how he was born again after hearing the Word of God.
Needless to say, it causes a small stir and folks were not happy.
We stopped rather than cause a greater commotion and will rewrite the tract so as not to make the argument about the ‘church’.
We want to focus on the gospel.
At the end of the 2 hours we had 36 more signed up to study the Bible.
Then we had our discipleship meeting with 7 African men. It was a good time of study and preparation for the weekend.
In all we have 130+ new students working in the Scriptures.
Pray for us! We have all of next week to work the streets.
