Just a quick update…
We are challenged by the weather…
…the road from Limpopo Province where we live, to the border of Botswana is shut down due to flooding. Thus making a trip back to Francistown very difficult. (12+ hours to go around the problem) Pray for the Castners in Francistown!
…the road back into the bush we travel to visit Knowledge and Respect is shut down due to flooding and the bridge is out. Besides that, if were able to drive into the bush we would likely get stuck in the mud with the car we are driving. So visiting Knowledge is not possible at this time. Pray for his salvation! He is very close.
…we are waiting on workers to come to the house and make repairs…we now have 2 leaks in the roof that are added to that list. The downpours have been unusual. We lost some of our literature we printed when the bedroom we had stored the tracts in sprung a leak. Pray for our printing efforts and the storage!
…but God controls the weather. I went to the village of Mahwereleng in the rains on Thursday. I was tired of waiting to start the outreach, so decided to take a chance. When I arrived there was no one in sight at the taxi rank due to the rains. I sat in the car and prayed. I texted my wife and she prayed…then the rains stopped. I guess you know who God listens to. A few people appeared and I was able to meet them with some of the tracts we had salvaged out of the roof leak.
I was able to speak with several about their soul.
I met Vincent who had lived in Francistown for 5 years. We had a good gospel conversation. He is religious and lost.
I met David who is a Kombi driver and lost. He agreed to take some of the tracts and pass them to his passengers through the day.
Pray for Vincent and David.
