After taking a careful study of the word “church” in the New Testament I was challenged to rethink my beliefs.
Previously I had understood the church was a universal, invisible body of believers.
However when I examined the Scriptures I realized there was NO solid reason to believe that teaching.
I had to revisit previously held beliefs and reexamine how I would do ministry.
Your view of what a church is will radically affect your understanding of the Bible and how you practice ministry.
That study led me to look at other institutions that I had always taken for granted. Places like Bible colleges, mission boards and denominational affiliations.
I find NO reference to any of those institutions that are so prominent in our day.
If the Bible has NO reference to them, then we must ask the question, why do we go to them, honor them and support them?
If you are ready to get out of your box that holds your ministry back and get into the book shoot me an email at pdhammett @ gmail.com
We will talk and see if I can recommend a course of action for you.
