If you have known me for any length of time you know I have said for many years that giving your daughter away in marriage is like giving a fine Stradivarius violin to an Orangutan.
That is especially true if you have a lady as fine as my Rachel. (I know, I am prejudiced…but just because I am prejudiced it does not keep me from being right!)

And when I do that, in many cases I must apologize to the Orangutans of the world.

In the case of my sons…I would have to say the Orangutans won…but the fathers of those two girls did not have the advantage of my books so they could protect their daughters. 🙂
I definitely got 2 of the finest daughter-in-laws a father could ever hope for. I pray for them every day that they will be able to tame their Orangutan. 🙂
In the case of my daughter, her wedding is coming up on January 5th. I must say I am very excited about this event and happy to report that her husband-to-be is NOT an Orangutan!
